Oh boy oh boy! Pizza! Honestly, my favorite pizza is cheese pizza. I know, it’s very vanilla of me (also my favorite ice cream flavor…real VANILLA flavor, not the “plain” ice cream). But I sometimes just don’t want my pizza adulterated by toppings. Great crust. Great sauce. Great cheese. It’s all I really need.
Sometimes I even go with olive oil and garlic (no marinara) topped with cheese. And with a big batch of homemade marinara sauce, you can sneak in just about any pureed veggies you want. I snuck in pureed green beans that I’d frozen early in the Summer. It’s amazing how little they impacted the flavor of the sauce. But think of all those bonus vitamins! Yum!
