Fathead Pizza: Keto Experiments
  • 6 ounces fresh mozzarella (yes, there's mozzarella on the inside)
  • 1 ounce (2 Tablespoons) cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup almond flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • dash of salt
  • Toppings:
  • 6 ounces fresh mozzarella
  • olives, crispy bacon, etc., if desired
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Mix your first 6 ounces of mozzarella, the cream cheese and almond flour in a double boiler.
  3. Once melted, add egg, salt and herbs to combine.
  4. Roll the dough between two sheets of parchment paper.
  5. Remove the top paper and poke fork holes in your crust.
  6. Bake at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 12-15 minutes.
  7. Take the crust out and flip it over (bottom's up).
  8. Top it with whatever you like (we usually opt for mozzarella and olives, sometimes crispy bacon.
  9. Bake for another 5 minutes.
  10. Serve.
