Easy Peppermint Fudge Recipe
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 8 ounces butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 5 drops peppermint essential oil
  1. Place first three ingredients in a small saucepan and heat over medium-low until the butter is melted, stirring frequently. Heat for a few more minutes, or until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add a piece of parchment paper to an 8 x 8 glass baking pan and preheat your oven or toaster oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Add melted ingredients and chocolate chips to dish and dish. Drop in essential oils and stir again. Bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes, stirring a few times during this time, until the chocolate chips are melted.
  3. Cool overnight in the refrigerator. Cut into 1-inch squares. Freeze to harden up the rest of the way and distribute (or eat). These make great gifts! And they're delicious. Go ahead and make a double batch, you won't be sorry!
