I’m so grateful for the Zoku Duo Quick Pop Maker I received recently for review. I first saw the Zoku pop makers in one of those techie stores in the mall.
It said that it could freeze popsicles in minutes without electricity and I thought to myself “what kind of crazy chemicals do that?” But, then I saw the Zoku Pop Makers online and realized that it’s actually a tiny freezer. You store the popmaker in your freezer, where it stores up cold energy. Then you pour in your pop ingredients and it transfers that cold energy into nearly instant pops. How cool is that?
So, I was pretty excited when Zoku agreed to send me their Zoku Duo Quick Pop Maker to review. I was a little bummed that I had to wait 24 hours for the unit to fully freeze before trying it out. But, since it lives in the freezer after that, you never have to wait that long again. Excellent.
I made about 10 different types of pops over the next few days and the kids LOVED it. Usually, when we mix up pops they have to wait endless hours for the pops to freeze. This pop maker is great for kid-friendly instant gratification.
We use it entirely too much now and it’s great for experimenting with small batches of new flavors. You get to know nearly right away whether the mix works as a pop and can save yourself some time and frustration. I definitely recommend giving the Zoku Duo Quick Pop Maker a try!
Note: While Zoku provided me with product for the review , my opinions are 100% my own. See my full disclosure policy here. If you have any additional questions – feel free to send an email to veggieconverter@gmail.com.

ARGH! I've had one on my wishlist for years and no one ever buys me one. Zoku, see me, love me, give me presents!
Bummer! Wish I had extras to give away! I'd say it's worth buying for yourself though. And the duo can make several batches at once. I've done 6 with no problem. The price is pretty low, considering the convenience you get.
